Designed to keep butter the way the French do- keeps butter fresh and spreadable for weeks without refrigeration. The two-piece water-seal design prevents spoilage, odors, and rancidity so that butter stays fresh on your countertop. Simple 3-step process: Add 1/3 cup cold water to base, pack softened butter firmly into lid, insert for airtight seal. Holds about one stick/cube (1/2 cup) of butter.
