Vintage Chile Folk Art Pottery Bowl Signed Ivan Hand Painted Wall Hanging 8.5”

Beautiful vintage hand-painted pottery bowl from Chile, signed “Chile Ivan” on the reverse. The bowl features a bold geometric design in earthy terracotta red, black and natural clay tones, with repeating stepped and cross-form motifs surrounding a large red center. Its rustic hand-worked surface, irregularities and aged finish give it wonderful folk-art character. A small integrated clay hanging loop with wire is attached to the back, allowing the bowl to be displayed as wall decor. It also looks beautiful displayed upright on a plate stand. Google Lens identifies the design as being inspired by Diaguita pottery traditions of Chile. Since the piece itself is only marked “Chile Ivan,” I would market it as Chilean folk art / Diaguita-style or Diaguita-inspired pottery rather than definitively claiming it was made by a Diaguita artisan. Size: Approximately 8.5” wide. Vintage condition with visible age-related surface wear, rubbing, small marks and imperfections consistent with handmade pottery. Please review photos carefully for condition.
