The long-established Takakame workshop has connections to renowned figures of the Mingei movement, such as Keisuke Serizawa and Shōya Amae.
This toy was designed by Sori Yanagi, son of Soetsu Yanagi.
Crafted using the techniques of Naruko Kokeshi dolls, each piece is handmade and reportedly rarely available for sale.
