Vintage Selsi 3X Mother of Pearl Opera Glasses Lorgnette Handle Case

Beautiful vintage Selsi 3X opera and theater glasses dating to approximately the 1960s-1970s. These elegant compact binoculars feature genuine mother-of-pearl paneled barrels with gold-tone metal trim, blue/purple coated optics, center focusing wheel and classic three-bar construction. Includes the detachable faceted pearlescent lorgnette-style handle, threaded attachment piece and coordinating metallic gold zippered carrying case shown in the photos. Marked “Selsi” and “3X.” The combination of mother of pearl, gilt finish and handheld lorgnette design gives these a wonderful Mid-Century Hollywood Regency look.
