Vintage 1980s Mark & John beaded two pc skirt set Beaded

This is a vintage intricate royal blue Mark & John two-piece set with heavy bead and sequin embellishments. The top has a V-neckline and short sleeves, while the skirt features a matching pattern, with a split in back. The fabric is a sheer silk material with a solid lining. The heavily embellished style—featuring intricate bugle beadwork, allover sequins, stylized Art Deco revival fan patterns, and a scalloped zig-zag hemline—is signature to the high-glam eveningwear trends popularized during the mid-to-late 1980s. Please Note - The elastic in the waistband is shot, but can easily be replaced. It looks shrunk a little bit, as the lining is a bit bigger? Does not affect wear. Possibly a L. or Ex L.
