Vintage Handmade Primitive Folk Art Cloth Doll Red Plaid Dress Toaster Cover

Vintage handmade Black Americana folk-art doll toaster cover featuring a red-and-cream gingham dress, full gathered skirt and attached apron. The hollow underside allows the dress to fit over and conceal a countertop toaster. Finished with embroidered facial details, button eye and applied hoop earrings.  Poor, as-is vintage condition. One button eye is missing, both hands have substantial fabric loss with stuffing exposed, and the dress and apron show staining, discoloration, fading and age-related wear. No maker's label was found.  Sold as a decorative collectible and not cleaned or repaired.
