Vintage Black Amethyst Glass Baluster Vase Flared Compote Base Pedestal

Description
Up for sale is a stunning piece of vintage Black Amethyst Glass. This heavy, hand-blown art glass piece features a classic pedestal design with a stacked baluster stem, a wide flared rim, and a sturdy footed base. Under standard ambient light, the glass appears to be a solid, glossy black. However, when held up to strong direct light or a flashlight (as shown in the photos), it displays a breathtaking, deep translucent purple/plum hue characteristic of genuine black amethyst glass. The dimensions are: approx. 11.25 tall x 5.5 wide across the trumpet opening at the top.
