Vintage Collapsible Wood Apple Basket Folding Fruit Bowl Signed Ed Perrier

Vintage signed collapsible wooden apple basket / fruit bowl by Ed Perrier. This clever wooden basket is constructed from a single thick piece of wood cut into a series of nested concentric sections. When raised, the sections form a dimensional basket and the apple-shaped outer frame creates the carrying/display handle. When collapsed, the sections nest back together for a compact sculptural display. The center is hand-signed “Ed Perrier.” Approx. size collaspsed10.5 x 10.5 Fully open - 13 H x 10.5 W The warm natural wood grain and apple silhouette give the piece a wonderful Mid-Century/retro handcrafted appearance.
