This is a solid shaft type squid gaff that attaches to your existing landing pole.
When stored, the hook tips are folded into a safety cover, and the solid shaft neatly retracts into the landing pole, making it compact and exceptionally safe.
When swung out with force, the gaff extends and automatically opens. When you hook a squid, the solid shaft bends and the hook tips face upwards, preventing the catch from escaping.
