◎●50 Seeds☆Black Edamame, Black Soybeans, Edamame Seeds☆For Home Cultivation in Hokkaido●◎
These black edamame seeds were harvested last fall from black soybeans grown organically in Hokkaido. We had a large harvest and have too many to plant in the spring, so we are offering them for sale.
We have selected 50 high-quality seeds. They will be carefully packaged to prevent damage during shipping.
In Hokkaido, if you plant these seeds in the ground from mid to late May, you can harvest black edamame by the end of summer. Due to recent global warming, the planting-to-harvest period has become longer.
Alternatively, if you leave the plants to dry out completely in the fall without harvesting them as edamame, you can harvest them as black soybeans.
Last fall, we harvested a bucketful! They are delicious whether made into edamame rice, boiled and salted as a snack, or prepared as black soybeans for New Year's.
We are unsure of the exact germination rate, but every year we plant seeds saved from our harvest and have consistently yielded a bountiful crop of black edamame.
We look forward to receiving bids from those who understand these conditions.
