Billbergia 'Beedleman' - Actual Item
'Beadleman' is a well-known cultivar among Billbergia (Bromeliaceae, genus *Aechmea*) ornamental varieties. It was created by the renowned Don Beadle through the crossbreeding of 'Domingos Martins' and 'Hellfire'.
The leaf color changes from deep green to reddish-purple depending on sunlight and environment. Insufficient sunlight results in a deep green color, while adequate sunlight appears to deepen to a rich red (reddish-purple). This particular plant has beautiful reddish-purple leaves with white stripes.
