Selmer Soloist Long Shank Alto

Description

This is a Selmer vintage long shank alto saxophone mouthpiece. The facing is C*, but it plays very similarly to a D. Its sound is characterized by a darkness not found in current mouthpieces.

I am selling it because I primarily use Meyer mouthpieces and will not be using this one.

This mouthpiece has been re-faced by Fred Rast, a refacer of Selmer vintage mouthpieces used by Kenny Garrett. I was told by the previous owner that it was acquired from the United States.

It has the F.Rast and 444 serial number stamps.

I am also including a link to Fred Rast's website for reference.

As this is a vintage item, please no returns or complaints (NCNR).
